LiveBinders is a game changer and wherever I go, people absolutely fall in love with it.

Training materials can easily get forgotten or sit on a shelf, especially when they’re just paper or static files. Mary Schillinger, a national education consultant and trainer, found a better way by using interactive digital binders to create engaging, easy-to-use learning tools. Her binders have been viewed over 50,000 times, helping educators involved in state programs, universities, and school districts.  Mary uses LiveBinders to turn one-time training sessions into resources people actually come back to as they need them over time.

The Challenge

Disconnected Training Resources + Limited Post-Session Access

As Mary shifted into national consulting, she realized she didn’t just want to share ideas, she wanted to leave educators with resources they would actually use. The problem? Paper binders got lost or forgotten, and shared drives were a mess. She still remembers the sting of seeing one of her carefully crafted 3-ring binders, something she had poured her heart into, sitting in the back of a teacher’s car, untouched, a year after the training.

“That haunted me. I worked so hard on that printed binder. I knew there had to be a better way so they don’t just get it and drop it.”

The Solution

Mary adopted LiveBinders to transform her presentations into digital, interactive experiences. Each training starts with a LiveBinder link, guiding attendees through structured tabs that align with real-time activities and resources.

“They’re in it within minutes, and we use it live during the session.”

The binders end up growing over time as attendees provide her with handouts and feedback, making them collaborative tools not static handouts.  LiveBinders provides Mary with a system she can build on over time without reinventing the wheel. Educators know they can come back to her binders even years later.

“Even people who aren’t techie get it. It’s the best thing since sliced bread.”

From Presentation Tool to Long-Term Knowledge Hub

Mary’s LiveBinders turn one-time sessions into ongoing support systems. They build trust by staying available and relevant years after the presentation ends.

“My LiveBinders are living documents that people continue to email me and call me about so they’re fabulous.”
