LiveBinders has increased our team’s productivity and made sharing documents seamless with our practices.

Partners in Care supports healthcare practices participating in the Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan Patient-Centered Medical Home (BCBSM PCMH) program.  As part of their support efforts, the team coordinates, collects, and shares required documentation with participating practices.

The Challenge

In 2020, as the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted traditional workflows, Cathi’s team needed a reliable way to manage documentation for the BCBSM PCMH program.  They had previously relied on assembling physical binders, a time-consuming and labor-intensive process that involved printing, organizing and mailing documents to various practices.

After discovering LiveBinders the team quickly shifted to digital workflows. LiveBinders provided what they were looking for in terms of mimicing the flow of their paper binders.  Their binders provided an intuitive and accessible platform where documents, carefully anonymized to protect sensitive information, could be uploaded, organized, and instantly shared with their network of healthcare practices.  Each binder could be accessed repeatedly over time so that they could rely on the one binder URL to find past documents and future ones as well.  Thus, each binder became a dynamic resource hub: practices could clearly see what had been submitted, what was still needed and even refer back to prior year’s example for guidance.

With LiveBinders, we can easily upload and share what’s needed, and our practices can instantly view what’s there and what’s still missing. Plus, keeping previous years’ examples in the binder helps everyone stay on track.
