I'm on the Grammar Committee team in my district to determine the scope and sequence as well as the best practices for the teaching of grammar K - 12. There are three break off teams: K - 5, 6-8 and 9-12. My team's focus is 9-12. There are as many ways to teach grammar as there are teachers, so what's the best way? In isolation versus in context. And which skills should be taught at each grade level?
