Culturally Responsive Teaching in a Title I ELA Classroom
Welcome to my portfolio, Inclusive Education in a Global Context: A Culturally Responsive Approach in a Title I ELA Classroom. This project aims to examine how inclusive education, grounded in global perspectives and supported by culturally responsive pedagogy, can transform teaching and learning in a diverse fifth-grade English Language Arts (ELA) classroom. As a Title I educator, I serve students from various cultural, linguistic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Through this portfolio, I reflect on the research, practices, and personal experiences that inform my commitment to inclusive education. By connecting global theories with local practices, I hope to demonstrate how equity-driven instruction empowers all students to succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
