Incorporating open education resources (OER) into course curriculum is not just about saving money and trees – it is about finding materials that are current, rich, engaging, rigorous and timely. This session will address factors that should be considered when building a curriculum out of OER such as principles of Universal Design for Learning, accessibility, technology requirements, the time involved with finding the materials, and careful planning and integration.
