STEAM Fiber Arts After School
This series of engaging after-school activities introduces middle schoolers to the world of traditional textile practices through a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) lens. Participants will explore cultural heritage, sustainability, and innovation while mastering skills like sewing, fabric design, embroidery, beading and crochet. They'll learn how to blend traditional techniques with modern materials and tools to create contemporary fiber arts pieces.
