It's a Team Thing! DHH Students in Gen Ed Settings
Students who are deaf/hard of hearing can have very successful experiences being served in general education settings with an interpreter. Very few of our students will experience that success, however, if they are dropped into place without the educational team working collaboratively to address each students individual needs. Come learn about the importance of the educational team in the successful integration of students who are deaf/hard of hearing, and the unique role the teacher of the deaf plays on this team.
