YP LIVEBINDERS MASTERS PROGRAM
SO WHAT, WHO CARES STATEMENT:One of the ways we inspire children to learn is to understand what motivates them. Arguably what encourages them is all things technological: laptops, ipads, iPhones and more. Apparently they use Twitter, Facebook, apps and know their way around the internet in what some might say is the ease of a digital native. For this reason it is vital that their teachers have as much if not more knowledge about the technology they are using. Many of these devices are capable of providing students with authentic learning opportunities. Moreover, as educators we should not only learn about current platforms and applications, but also know about upcoming technology and the potential to integrate it into the classroom.
