Course Description for Honors Algebra 1 from our Program of Studies --
Algebra 1 serves as the foundation for all subsequent mathematics courses. Linear, Quadratic, and Exponential expressions and functions will be studied using multiple representations. This course will deepen and extend students��� understanding of these functions and their relationships. Other topics include: systems of equations, polynomial operations, absolute value functions, and statistics. We will use technology, such as graphing calculators, and online graphing tools throughout the course.
