Prevent - Teach - Reinforce Resources
The Prevent-Teach-Reinforce (PTR) model of the FBA/BIP process is an evidence-based positive behavior support process for developing and implementing individualized functional behavior assessments and behavior intervention plans as part of Tier 3 systems. FLPBIS can support districts in building district-level capacity (external and internal coaching) by providing training and coaching to assist district and school-level personnel (e.g. Behavior Analysts, School psychologists, Social Workers, etc.) as PTR Facilitators. Once trained school and district personnel can provide additional training and coaching to expand the PTR process. FLPBIS can provide ongoing coaching supports to trained PTR facilitators to ensure skill acquisition and positive student outcomes.
