But it is also perfect for more adventuresome fare such as Thai spicy ground beef (in the video tab above).

Classic Salisbury Steaks (Great American Recipes)

Combine 1 lb.+ ground beef. 1 small onion, chopped, 1 T chopped fresh sage leaves, ½ t salt, ¼ t black pepper, in a medium bowl. Divide into four equal portions. Shape each portion into round patty, about ¼ inch thick.
Cook patties in large skillet, about 10-14 min.
Meanwhile, melt 1T butter in medium skillet over medium heat. Add ½ lb sliced mushrooms. Cook 5-7 min. Stir in 1 jar (12 oz.) Beef gravy. Heat 3-5 min. Serve gravy over patties. Good with mashed potatoes.
